We love to spend time outside, and we especially love it when nature and reading combine. That is why we are extra excited about our Reading Rocks program!
Reading Rocks is like a worldwide scavenger hunt that encourages time spent in nature as well as reading. What could be better?
To join in on the fun:
- Find a rock that you like (flatter and rounder is best for this)
- Use an eco-friendly glue to attach the image below or paint your own design. Just be sure to always include the hashtag #BPPReadingRocks
- Use a paint or permanent marker that won’t wash off to write your favorite children’s book on the back
- Place it anywhere in the world for someone else to find!
When you find a Blueberry Pancake Publishing rock out in the wild:
- Take a picture of your find and share it on social media with the hashtag #BPPReadingRocks
- Read the book written on the back
- Create your own Reading Rock to place anywhere you’d like
